ABOUT ME

I am a filmmaker (writer & director) living and working in Brussels, Belgium.
I have travelled a lot. I try to discover one new country every year.
I like to do what the local people do. In general I like to stay away from the touristic places.

I'll always try to spend some time at the seaside. I like to swim, fitness and play (beach & normal) volley.

About my work:
I have made some shorts, a tv movie and a feature film.
The subjects of my films vary, but mostly I talk about human relations; often the individual in relation to the group. 'To Speak' is about a stuttering boy (my own childhood); my feature film about a judge who got fired because of his sexual life with his wife (S&M). The short film is autobiographical, the feature base on a true story.

Travelling is, even more than the countries you visit, about the people you meet. CS has helped me meet some really interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I play the guitar (classical & rock) and write short stories. I have painted; photographed etc... But my real passion is film, that's where it all gets together.

My preferences in art go from Dostojewski over Raymond Carver, Bukowski to Chopin, Tom Waits, Edward Hopper and Van Gogh to Simon and Garfunkel.
