About Me

In search of redefining the life we were told to live, 2 years experimenting nomadic life - to feed my soul curious about different lifestyles and beliefs on the same planet, and support my family while travelling.

Along my experiment, I have been a fisherman, farmer, house builder, sushi marker, dish washer, dumpling maker, massage therapist, horse sitter... And engineer too. Hoping may be to explore more sustainable ways to live one life =]

PHILOSOPHY

The opposite of successful is not failure, but not doing anything. (Try again, fail again, fail better)

"For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others."

ABOUT MY HOMETOWN

I am proud to be born in my hometown, Hong Kong may be the only place that western and eastern cultures are truly merged with over hundred years in the world, it is not just a place you can eat dim sum and pizza, indeed you can find the diversified nations, religious, both historical sites, modern architectures, cultures and of course the food heaven here =]

Moreover, it is a robust metropolitan city on the rock actually, skyscrapers and mountains are close to each other in the heart of the city. Out of the compact 1,092 km² of land, about three-quarters is countryside, forest, beaches, ocean, nature and the city life are connected efficiently!!!

Hong Kong is a city with full of energy and never fall asleep, you can see different things at different time, if you are energetic enough, I would love to show you this unique lovely city =]

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to trust people because I like to be trusted, and I think we are here to trust each other. I truly believe...

"One's destination is never a place but rather a new way of looking at things."

I treat travelling more like an adventurous book, I look forward to meet new friends, learn new cultures and impacted by new thoughts when I travel every time.

I dislike staying in hotel, it is much more enjoyable to talk and stay with local people. I like to eat what the local eats, learn what the local does.

Interests

I like day dreaming, thinking, asking many questions.

I like to know strange things, I like to travel to unknown places without knowing the language, then explore, experience, figure out things. I like to be impacted by every person, everything that looks strange to me at first, then I feel super refreshed after I digest it =]

I am a hikeaholic, mountain/nature is like drugs to me, I wish to hike every time I travel to a new country. Of course I love the nature and all the unreal places in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was solo backpacking in Latin America, and I survived from a fight with 3 wild dogs in Mexico, then I had to cycle to hospital myself while bleeding... At the end I went to Cuba for emergent rabies injections...

Basically... may be to survive myself and support my family while keep moving until now.
