About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, learn to cook really well, get fit, learn languages, meet people, decide what sort of career path I want to take
ABOUT ME
I'm currently enjoying my time in Fort Lauderdale and working hard to save money for a pool and traveling.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live life while at the same time be responsible, but it's very important that people live life and don't get too tied up with their jobs or the people around them. Living life to some people just means sitting on a sofa and reading a book, but for me, I get the greatest pleasure out of travelling, where I get to talk to different people and eat different types of food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing is an awesome idea. I couchsurfed all over Europe and everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. They definitely added to the cultural aspect of my trip and my trip wouldn't have been the same without them. Couchsurfing is safe and fun and it's a great way to learn so much more about the culture you are visiting. And, while acting as a host, it's a great way to travel without really having to travel.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
Amelie is my favorite movie. When I watch Amelie, I see myself, for my relationship with my wife started in the same fashion. Meeting by accident, enjoying the small little things that no one else seems to notice, travelling back and forth between Europe and the US, taking spontaneous trips, riding around on the scooter in the city for the day. Basically, everything depicted in this movie. As far as books go, I only read articles and essays, so it's hard to mention favorites as everything I read is non-fiction. As far as music goes, I like cultural music, anything from Italian cafe music, salsa, jazz, some pop, and the guy in the corner of a restaurant playing a guitar.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Europe without telling my close family or the person who I was visiting, who was my fiancee at the time. I booked a flight spontaneously, and 1 week later, was knocking on her door in Munich much to her surprise and utter shock. And this all just happened to be on Valentine's Day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach anyone about music, the US, English, writing, some science, sharks, and matters that are psychological in nature, particularly those that involve developmental psychology. I would also love to share my views about politics and global relations.
