About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"Vive la difference." The world is full of so much diversity; just hope I can see it all!
ABOUT ME
Hello! I really enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. Respect for others is a definite a priority in my books and a creed that I live by.
When I travel, I like to take my time enjoying the scenery, relaxing along the way, and people-watching to really soak in the culture around me. I definitely favour quieter destinations rather than the hustle-bustle tourist sites.
Right now I've just finished my degree in biology and am looking for work in the environmental management/consulting sector. Venturing out into the real world is daunting, so I distract myself by sewing and baking.
I'm also gay and would greatly appreciate an open and tolerant attitude and atmosphere :)
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop learning. There's really nothing I enjoy more, whether it be in or out of a classroom.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm between houses right now so sadly can't host but if you'd like to hang out, I'm totally game for it. Give me a shout!
And of course, I also greatly appreciate the opportunity to couchsurf when travelling.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfing experiences were in Montreal, where I met so many fantastic people from all over the world from staying with amazing hosts! Since then, I've still only met wonderful and knowledgeable people through CS.
Interests
Shakespeare, invertebrates, unwinding in a warm cafe, art galleries, queer/race studies, evolutionary biology, deadpan comedy, and more. My tastes are very eclectic, but I'm very open to trying new things too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My best friend and I stayed up all night chalking the city, ended up singing and dancing on the beach at sunrise, and lost her phone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could geek out for hours about biology. If you're interested in the adaptations of the sea cucumber, how the Y chromosome came to be, or why the roundworm Ascaris is pretty much the grossest organism on earth, I have much to teach you. Having said this, there's a ton of other things I could talk about too!
