Hey, I'm Simon, I'm a 20 years old guy and I'm studying French litterature. I really like music (singing, playing piano and guitar). I live in an appartment in a small Belgian town called "Namur". I really love to cook but I have a hundred things to learn about that. I'm thursty of discovering new things to do, new people, new lands, new ways. I like writing stories, songs, poetry.
I'm always losing my keys everywhere because I am a wide dreamer.
I love to dance !
In the morning, I like discover a new song to make me feel intensity and let it follow me for all the day.
I can't let people come to my home right now because I'm in a small appartment and I live with my girlfriend, but in a few years, the door will always be open, especially if I have the chance to be received :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First, I'm a student and I don't have much money. I have my studio to pay because I have the chance to live in the town I'm studying, and then, I need to meet new ways to travel by meeting new people and new towns. I thing this wonderful system is a wonderful compromise between my need to travel, and my discovering need.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like London Grammar, Agnes Obel, Daughter. Alternative pop-rock is one of my very-liked kind of music. I play a little guitar and I LOVE singing.
I can't live without The Lord of the Ring, wich is my Holly Bible, and I really like French Litterature (Sartre, Baudelaire, Rimbaud...)
I'm watching to The Walking Dead right now and I'm in love with the perfection of this realisation !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on a biking trip, in the Belgian Ardennes. I always travel with a bluetooth speaker. It has been raining on me and my bike for all the day, and when I was on the summit of the hill, surrounded by trees, one of my favourite song began: it was Familiar, Agnes Obel's new wonderful song. At the same time, the rain stopped, and the sun rose. I felt extremly wild and free. I just had a sandwich in my bag. I dropped everything I had on my back, watched the sun, and just ate, and listen to the song endlessly. I didn't feel alone at all, I had everything I needed. This is what I'm looking for when I'm travelling, and I found it this special time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an extremly sensitive boy, I believe in human nature and I really like listening to the people talking, discover who they are, where they come from and in what they're dreaming. I am a open-minded guy, and if I can look like a mirror to them for the time of a conversation, I will not need something else. I'll be more than happy. My inner life is really deep and burning, I need authenticity. I can share my vision of things I hear, things I think, things I see... We can remake the world together if you feel like that's what you want.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A really long conversation around some glasses of wine, with a good music in the back, and I would love my host to make me discover the place they live, what they know. I'm thursty of this discovering and this is why I'd like to use Couchsurfing: I really like travelling alone, but I'm thursty of sharing things with people, it feeds me and make me breath.
If my host like playing music or singing, I really would like to spend an evening to do that !
