At first I felt a slightly uncertain or uncomfortable using couch surfing - barging in to somebody's live and home just like that... But I see it is an excellent way to break boundaries and (old) fashions. It is really nice and interesting to meet people who are not directly linked to your own live (except for both being a member of couchsurfing) and to share space (which I think is really important now a days). I will be thankful for the host by being a good guest and would be happy to answer his or her hospitality some day at my place! (-Where ever that may be)
