meeting new people! the bed's not important. sleep will happen. fancy bathrooms? meh. it's all about the people, and truly immersing yourself in the environment. just like the difference between driving through a city, separated by glass window, and walking through a city: smelling the smells, hearing the children playing hide and go seek, getting run into by a wet golden retriever...
