I am an easy going, chill person who is always down for a nice chat or to go out and have fun. I like a good adventure and I love travelling and seeing how beautiful the world is. My life mantra is to try to always live in the moment - I love the feeling when you are so happy in the moment where you are, there's nowhere else in the world you'd rather be.

A bit more about what I like… I ski race for my university and came 17th nationally last year (although that’s only possible because not many people ski in england). I love the sea, diving and snorkelling and also also generally nature and hiking and being outdoors. I’m starting a PhD in materials chemistry in October and travelling around a bit before I start.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am relatively new to Couchsurfing but I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and experience something different to hostels where most people I meet are also english. I would love to meet people and hopefully make some amazing memories together!

When I travel I don't like to just do tours/ see the sights everyone sees, take a photo and move on... I think the people you meet travelling and the experiences you have are what makes travel special

I love all genres of music, films and books.
My favourite book right now is a brave new world but this always changes based on what the latest book i really enjoyed reading is.
Some of my favourite films are Good Will Hunting, Notting Hill, Forest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile.

I was lucky enough to be able to volunteer for 2 months on a marine conservation project in Madagascar.
I learned to dive and collected data for the charity on the state of the corals/ sea life, as well as teaching an English class and helping out in village projects as much as I could. It was an incredible experience that showed such a great example of how if you give people tools they can prosper.
