About Me
Current mission: Learn as much as possible, be intentional, be present
I'm just an open-minded girl trying to learn as much from her experience living in Europe as she can. I'm pretty passionate about a lot of things, comically dramatic about others but overall pretty laid back.
I love adventures, telling long stories with unnecessary detail, old things and doing things that make me happy.
If I have a pillow and a blanket I could pretty much sleep anywhere (through most noises too, its a talent :)). I'm a complete morning person that has been conditioned to function well into the night as well. I absolutely adore dogs and cats. I used to eat pretty much everything but became vegetarian a few months ago.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The most memorable travel experiences I have had involved meeting people and talking for hours about our lives. I love to hear their colourful stories and couchsurfing is a great way meet more people to do this.
Unfortunately I can't currently host because I am living in a dorm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the most amazing thing I have ever done is the tandem skydive I did over the Namib desert. My inner child definitely enjoys the adrenalin rush of things like rollercoasters and such but this was just on another level. 10/10 would recommend.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love South Africa and talking about its complicated politics (post-colonialism + post-Apartheid), its magnificent people and their intricate relationships and my upbringing which involved relative proximity to wild animals (on occasion).
What I Can Share with Hosts
An easy smile and a dose of sarcasm - if we have enough time perhaps even a South African (Afrikaans) dessert.
