ABOUT ME

I'm Lana and music is my life! I love to sing and I do it constantly. I enjoy learning to play every musical instrument that makes it's way into my hands. I have a gear addiction. I've studied music in college and I still enjoy playing to this day. I live in Chicago and work at an awesome company in the suburbs that makes microphones. I love technology, reading, sewing/design, the great outdoors and lots of cute and not-cute animals.

Travel is my second passion. I'm always looking to explore new corners of the world and the music that their cultures identify with. Traveling to experience new places is always something I need to peruse

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is always changing. Especially right now in my life. I guess I would say; know what you want, and don't ever be afraid to go get it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to make friends and travel. I've met people that I will never forget with couchsurfing. I'd like to continue that trend.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went to Quebec City in fall of 2012 and hung out with other awesome couch surfers. Travel success. Met some pretty amazing people. I've also met some pretty cool local people in Chicago.

I've gone on an all-night 12 hour road trip from Madison to Toronto by myself. I saw the sunset while stuck in Chicago traffic and the sunrise upon the skyline of Toronto. It was an incredible experience.

I've also walked on the white sand beaches of Negril, Jamaica. It was beautiful.

I drank Le Fin Du Monde and ate poutine avec les quebecious.

I would be happy to play you a song. I can tell ghost stories about all-girl school of my past. I'm always happy to talk about my home in Wisconsin.

I'm looking to live like the locals do. I'd like to hang out with new people in their favorite bar, or walk down new streets alone. I'm unendingly curious about the world and the way other people live their lives.
