ABOUT ME

I am from a small town in Red Bluff, California, USA. I had never travelled more than 4 hours outside of my home town until I decided to do a study abroad program in Oaxaca, Mexico while in college. I stayed with a host family and had the most wonderful experience. Since then, I travel every opportunity I can. I have realized that meeting people is the most interesting part of travel, which is why I decided to join Couch Surfing.
I currently live and work on the island of Menorca, Spain. I organize an international archaeology field school and in my spare time volunteer in various ways to help animals (both indigenous and domestic) on the island. I am currently trying to get ramps installed all of the cattle guards of Menorca so that the indigenous hedgehogs that fall in don’t die. I have rescued 106 live hedgehogs so far and have gained support on the island.
So that is a bit about me and what I do.
