I'm an art student (photo) with an interest in education and anthropology. I like to make things like sculptures, connections, and music. I've got a relaxed way of doing things and I'm awfully polite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I went to a CS meeting and now I'm a believer. I couchsurfed while I was in Europe and now that I'm back in the states with a couch of my own it's time to give back.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

meetings in Copenhagen, a week on couches in Paris.

Music, Movies, and Books

There's something worth listening to in any genre. James Brown, Animal Collective, Fela Kuti, Jaga Jazzist, Kaki King, Don Caballero, Sam Cooke, and !!! are all favorites, I'm partial to a lot of midwest rock like Ten Grand, the Plastic Constellations, STNNNG, Signal to Trust, Look Down, Tornavalanche, ft(Shadow Government).

Some favorite authors are Raymond Carver, David Eggers, Shel Silverstein, and Berke Breathed

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied microcredit in Nicaragua, went on an 8,000 mile tour in a minivan for a month with a wrestle-core metal band, and I ate The Slinger in 4.5 minutes
