We are two Danish girls at 21 and 22. We met at a school of music and theatre, and now we want to discover the world. Mette works in a kindergarden. Anna works as a lawyer assistant. We are going to travel through California by rented car from April 16th to June 25th 2012. We are looking forward to experiencing California, and we really hope to get the opportunity to couchsurf a little. We have the impression that the American people are really openminded and hospitable, and thats the reason why we have chosen to try couchsurfing in California

Interests

Mette loves to travel, and she spends all her money doing so. She also loves festivals, music, nature and books. She likes to jog and ride the bike. She works with children and mentally disabled people which she loves, but her future plan/dream is to become a french interpreter. She also loves cooking!
Anna likes to spend time with her family and friends, but she enjoys being alone aswell. While spending time alone she listens to Music, watches tv or Reals in books and especially magazines. Together with her friends she goes put to partys or to cafees. Anna is born Into a family where nature, travelling and not at least food have a great importance in life. She loves food, especially the sweet kind, but she has a focus on Health aswell and she enjoys to jog. Anna has a great interest in gramma and she hopes to work with language and communication in her future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mette: I met a poor family in the desert in India who invited me home and offered every eatable and drinkable thing they had. I accepted chai and a henna tattoo. They were so nice and friendly, and we communicated with body language. I was also invited to spend an evening in the poor slum of Jaipur with some young people who lived there with their family on a few square meters. I bought 12 beer and snacks in exchange, and we had a night to remember!
