About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm moving to Wellington for the next few months and I figure couchsurfing upon arrival is one of the better ways to get my feet on the ground. I'd like to find a sharehouse and somewhere that offers latin dance classes.
ABOUT ME
I'm a traveler, it's what I do, I've been traveling now for about 4 years and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I've lived on 10 countries and visited 25, I speak Spanish, cook well, and bake even better. So let me bake some turnovers and I can tell you a story or two over a hot cup of coffee
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy isn't that complicated; do what makes you happy, as much as you can, as often as you can, whenever you can, for as long as you can, as long as it doesn't infringe upon the happiness of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Despite living in Brasil, Germany, Holland, India, Indonesia, Australia, and Italy, Croatia, Peru, Colombia, and the U.S. I've never used couchsurfing to surf a couch, I do hope that changes very soon though
Interests
Adventuring is my passion, I yearn to venture the road less traveled and I love experiencing things that very few others will ever know. I want to explore and I want to have amazing stories of kindness, generosity and adventure to tell my friends and family as I get old, you could say I'm aspiring to be the worlds coolest grandpa.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movie is The Goonies, its a classic and I've loved it since I was a kid. Otherwise now-a-days with how much I've been traveling and my lack of electronic devices I haven't really had time for movies. As far as my music tastes go, I could go on for days, I believe in music as people believe in religion. My two all time favorite books are Ishmael by Daniel Quinn, which changed my life, and it continues to do so, and Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've seen the very first black president elected in to office... twice. It shows me that there is in fact hope for man with gorilla gone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to bake, I'd love to learn anything you have to offer, and I'm always willing to share a good story
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a pretty spectacular cook, everywhere I've traveled I try to take away at least two recipes, so I already have pages full. I also have some of my own. I'm also good at origami, baking, and cleaning. I'm an exceptionally well practiced conversationalist, traveling has given me many many opportunities to hone my skill of making friend with people from all different countries and walks of life.
