I grew up in a small Midwestern town in Wisconsin, currently living in Southern Minnesota. I am a full-time student, going to school for Business Administration. Music has been a big part of where I'm from, and I believe it's a big part of who I am. Recently I've picked up film photography, and cooking. These have been filling up my time when I'm not working or in school.

No matter where you travel, lodging can be expensive, even using AirBnb or hostels. As a student, I'm looking for budget friendly ways to travel and explore the world. Not only am I using this as a way to vacation, I'm looking to try new foods, learn and explore new cultures.
Ultimately, I want to have new experiences, see new faces, and meet new people.

兴趣

Although I'm a full-time student, I've taken up film photography as a hobby. Apposed to using a digital camera, I feel it makes me think more about what I'm trying to capture, and ultimately I will appreciate the picture. I've learned a lot about composition, patience, and finding creativity within myself. Aside from photography, my passion is cooking. I like learning about new cooking techniques and developing my own. I love being adventurous, and trying new foods. I believe that food is a global language and everyone, from any culture, can connect through food.
Throughout highschool, I've been involved in choir, show choir, and band. This has given me a passion for music. I taught myself guitar, approximately 13 years ago, and I have been involved in a few different musical projects. I love making music, sharing music, and listening to music. I also have a vinyl record collection.

My favorite artists/musicians right now are Bon Iver, The National, John Prine. I love music of all sorts really, these are what I'm listening to most at the moment.

Movies: Lord of The Rings, Into The Wild, and any Nicolas Cage movie.

I love learning and absorbing new information. I want to utilize Couchsurfing as a way to learn about myself, different cultures, and hopefully use this to expand on my photography. I'm hoping to hopefully share my knowledge about my life experiences, photography, or my cooking.
