Hi I'm Lando. I'm 30 years old, now living in Soest, The Netherlands. I work as a registered nurse, mostly at the trauma department or medium care. I love what I do for a living, but my real passion has always been travelling.

Travelbug bit me hard after six months of solo traveling through Australia when I just turned 18 years old. After that adventure many trips followed; shorter trips in Southeast Asia, driving and camping throughout Europe, motorbiking adventures in Vietnam and several big trips around the world. I've been very fortunate to have seen a lot of the beauty this world has to offer and to have met so many great people from every corner of this planet. My desire to travel, explore and learn is far from over!

My girlfriend and I are currently preparing for another trip around the world. Our last one started in Georgia, followed by Armenia, Iran, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Kenia, Ethiopia and the UAE. This time we will start in South Africa.

We're super stoked to be traveling again and we are open to meet all kinds of cool people.

The most beautiful thing about travelling is the fact that you get to see the world as it truly is. No better way of seeing the world as it is than through the eyes of the locals. Couchsurfing provides exactly that.

- Be surrounded by sperm whales in a small boat.
