About Me

I am a professor teaching on the faculty of Dance, and researching on neurosciences applied to dance. I love having meaningful conversations with different people about diverse topics, even very silly and funny ones sometimes :) . I have a deep passion for phylosophy, religions and anything else that bring us some deeper understanding about the human soul. In more practical level I LOVE dancing, traveling and adventure sports.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love receiving people, (like most brazilians) known as very social, and always had a wide range of friends visiting home. I also travel regularly alone because of scientific conferences, and dont like much the "tourist aproach" when visiting some place. This community seems to me as a great tool to improve my trip experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

For me there is music for hearing and usic for dancing. Love hearing classics (the sounds of violin and piano are my favorite sound sensory experiences). For dancing my favorites are definitely the latin styles (salsa!!!!)
For movies the favorite will always depend on my state of mind. I have a funny habit I always pass to friends that I like to chose the worst film ever (I have a personal collection of low-rated movies) and watch it just to have fun about how terrible it is (and sometimes we get very pleasant surprises from underrated movies!).
For books I keep on the interesting novels and good theories, my favorite until now was the Millenium Trilogy, which i highly reccommend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I ever did was having my most-cute-ever couple of twins, which make my life brighter every day. But I also have been skydiving, jungle survival courses, and studying/performing classic ballet.

Teach, Learn, Share

oh I love teaching people to dance! I am (over)talkative and pretty sure we can share lots of experiences. I cook quite well also.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I cook quite well and have my personal (very good) recipes, an teach dancing and maybe a bit of neuroscience (?) :D
