My boyfriend and I are planning a 6 month travel to Nepal and Southeast Asia starting in late September 2017.

ABOUT ME

I love traveling. When I was 19 I went on a three months backpacking trip, and i was hooked. Since then I did quite a bit of backpacking, study abroad, volunteering, hiking and working abroad.

PHILOSOPHY

I just take it as it comes. I would much rather live in a cheap hostel in a dorm, then on a luxury hotel, because you meet more people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only done couch surfing myself a few times, but it was good. I met another couch surfer, surfing the same place and we had some great fun... I have not had many surfing my place, as we don't have much space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Diving at Puerto Galera, Philippines. Hiking to the rice-terraces at Batad at Luzon. Sailing from Cuba to Belize. Dancing salsa until the early morning in Havana. Living on a cheap hostel at Caye Caulker and using our time on reggae, hammocks, kiting and diving. Drinking local homemade coconut wine in Belize. Watching the sun set over the beautiful small town on Lamu (Kenya) from a Dhow, feeling the rush before Bungy jumping the Victoria Falls Bridge in Zambia... and so on..

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to make new friends and exchange cultural experiences and thoughts on things. I am probably more a cultural tourist than a party tourist, but I am always up for going out to have a beer with my hosts.
