我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I believe couchsurfing is a great chance to hang out with people from all walks of life and that we can all learn and grow from each other.
I have recently quit my job and am on a self discovery journey for 2 years plus, where i aim to travel central and south America, learn Spanish, meet lots of different people, hopefully become a scuba dive instructor, do some Woofing and live in a different culture for a period of time.
Once i have settled somewhere i would love to share my knowledge of my new home with other travellers, as soon as I have the means to I'm excited to host!

Where do I start?! DIVING (scuba), macrame (artesania). reading, yoga, running, hiking and anything outdoors, water skiing, salsa dancing (learning), good conversations, good food, good wine, meeting new people who are also open minded, novice poi, big animal lover .

Electro swing, electronic (techno, psy trance sometimes, tech house), alternative music, folk, reggae, jazz, old school hip hop, whatever. I love music and always discovering!

Movies: Pulp fiction, The Life of Poi, before sunrise, before before sunset, before midnight, Stanley Kubrick films, Anime (spirited away), documentaries (anything about the ocean or space Louix Theroux), Science fiction.

Books: Too many! A couple of my favourites are Shantaram, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, Bel Canto, anything by Murakami, the red tent, A thousand splendid suns.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Worked at a hospital in Nepal as a nurse for 1 month, living with local tibetan refugees who treated us like family, survived with no hot water or electricity the whole time, and got an insiders view on the amazing Tibetan and Hindu culture that i hope to learn more about. I also worked with indigenous in the Kuna Yala CoMarc in Panama for 4 months, in some of the clearest water in the world!

I can teach you some macrame (jewellery making), some basic poi moves, vegetarian cooking, or any medical knowledge u want to know, and give you lots of travel advice or advice on any countries I've been to. I'd love to learn more Spanish or German, i am happy to help anyone out with their English if not already fluent. Id love to share and learn about your local culture and way of life, salsa dancing haha, food and cooking, knowledge and love of the outdoors, world views.
