Hey! I'm Alana- I consider myself to be a glass half full kinda gal, open minded, adventurous and social.

Travelling feeds my soul and the one thing I love most about is is the unique connections that I have the opportunity to make at every turn I take (no rhyming intended!) I believe everyone has something to offer. People and connections are what makes the journey memorable and worth it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive probably had more social gathering experiences with couch surfers but stayed with a few hosts in Latin America which were both great experiences. I've hosted some lovely ppl from around the world and really enjoy giving them an authentic Aussie experience and introducing them to my wonderful culture whilst also learning about theirs.

Interests

I try to have a regular yoga and meditation practice because I think I'd go insane without it

I love music, I play a little bit of guitar but love singing the most. I write my own songs when I feel inspired too.

I love live music

But most importantly, I really love getting to know new people, discovering their passions, being a listening ear and connecting. It's the best things about travel. Everyone has their story to tell and I want to hear it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music but drawn mostly towards rnb, Soul and reggae. But, honestly will always find a way to bust out to whatever's playing!

I love niche shows like The Mighty Boosh and Broad City and will watch pretty much any movie that will make me laugh, cry and terrifed- all at the same time!
