Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
discover, write, drink beer.
ABOUT ME
I finished my bachelors at UC Davis in California and decided to spend a year living in a city that is opposite of what I'm used to. I didn't intend to move to Denmark for a year, but it happened! I lived among trendy folk in a hipster neighborhood in Copenhagen. I adored it.
I now, incidentally, live in another hipster neighborhood in San Francisco. The Mission is amazing.
A list of things that get me out of bed every morning may be the best way to describe me. Creative collaborations, bacon and eggs, sunshine, bluegrass, jazz, mandolins, sarcasm, craft beer, any think-tank-like meetings, huskies.
PHILOSOPHY
Work hard, play harder.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only recently come to truly understand and appreciate the CS project. "Teach, learn, share" is an oversimplified title for the variety of experiences you can have! I'm very proud of the friends I've managed to find (and keep!) throughout the years, and I've made some amazing connections through CS. It's completely changed the way I view travel.
Interests
WordPress, craft beer, gastronomy, jewelry design, design of anything really, weird vegetables, knitting anything that will keep me warm in Scandinavia, website design, hyggeligt candles, awesome cafés, swimming, exercise, decorating. Fantasizing about my dream jobs.

Music, Movies, and Books
bluegrass, jazz, random hipster acapella groups, anything with a mandolin, and anything I can sing along to
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Witnessed Spain win the World Cup in Granada in 2010, hiked as far as possible on the Great Wall with my little brother, opened a beer bar in Copenhagen.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a youtube-learned knitter and cook of all delicious things. I have picked up a wealth of information on the craft beer culture in Scandinavia since moving here, and have a newly revitalized passion for the creative industries. And I love to talk about each of these things!
Things I'm always trying to do: learn new instruments, start doing yoga, improve my photography skills, and find a good thrift store.
What I Can Share with Hosts
knowledge of good food and draank :)
