ABOUT ME

I am a free spirit and live in a minimal way heading for self sufficiency.
I always worked as a freelance and I now spend my summer in St-Roch des Aulnaies,Qc gardening, painting and renovating farm houses. I co-owned a restaurant,and a rooming house, worked as a press photograph, a muralist and a designer.I renovated hold houses and worked in different construction projects.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just starting and met great people. Volunteered in the past and hosted with Workaway and HelpX.

Interests

Sailing, walking, traveling. I enjoy all outside work and learning new things, specially in construction and gardening.Recycling and eating well,mostly vegetarian. I sprout all kind of beens and love it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Most of the time I enjoy silence.
I like Dylan, Cohen, blues, reggie, classical, jazz...depends a lot on my mood and what I am doing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In February 2012 I volunteered in Nicaragua to start a garden from scratch. Got soil, seeds... and with a lot of time,water and care it just worked great !

My skills are in restauration, renovation, construction, gardening,tree planting and pruning, landscaping, general maintenance,driving, woodworking, plastering, painting, cooking, caring for elderly...
Now, I wish to learn more about permaculture and language s starting with Spanish.
