ABOUT ME

I am living my life, doing what I want to do. I recently returned from living in South Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. It was amazing and life changing for me. I came out of that experience with a entirely different outlook on life. I LOVE traveling. I love getting to know one's culture. Nothing better than having a beer with a local.
So, while I put myself in superb debt with grad school, I must still do what little traveling I can to keep my sanity. So, while I have known about CS for a long time, I have never utilized this amazing network of people before. I look forward to all the adventures and amazing people I am going to meet.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My living situation currently is a bit complicated. It really depends on the time when someone is coming through my neck of the woods, as to if there is room or not. But I'm happy to try to accommodate someone.
I did host a Belgian couple at my home in South Africa. We had a great time together. It was really cool.
Currently, however, I am mostly relying on the generosity of others to all my to surf on their couches.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am pretty new to CS. I have hosted a couple in my village in South Africa and was able to show them a bit of the rural life in SA. I had a great time and look forward to meeting other people on my travels . I have never had to opportunity to plan enough in advance for couch surfing. in my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

SO MANY!!! Here's just a few:

Biking through Siem Reap at sunrise to visit the temples. Jumping in the river fully clothed with little kids to cool off. Sharing a beer and lotus seeds with some local young adults.

Gourmet feast on a island in Mozambique fish cooked on the boat, while snorkeling around the island.

Driving down the road in Botswana and seeing a heard of elephants hanging out literally right on the side of the Highway. Incredible

10 day Silent meditation Retreat in Mcleod Gangj, India- Trains in India!

Milford Sound, New Zealand

Argentinian Wedding. They party ALL NIGHT LONG! So much food, So much dancing, It was super insane!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not an expert on anything, however I like to think I have a lot of stories, experiences, and advice for people when it comes living your life. I am in the process of finding y true authentic self, and I am so stoked I was able to figure it out who that person was. I am into Spirituality, meditating, I like to have a good time. I am open to try almost any experience once. I feel privileged to have this human life. I will do what I can to make the most of it.
