Hi everyone,

I´m Romana and I live in the north of the Czech Republic in Liberec, the fifth biggest town in Czech. I´ve studied the Faculty of Education here in Liberec (English and Czech language) and I currently work as a primary school teacher (teaching mainly English). I´m quite a traveller and I love meeting new people and getting to know new places and cultures all around the world, mostly with my backpack with a sleeping bag and a tent on, hitchhiking and waiting whatever the fate would bring.

Climbing is my big passion as well as slacklining so many of my adventurous journeys led me to beautiful natural places in many different countries. I love nature and everything with it and that is why I try to spend most of my time outside, somewhere in a quiet place whether in the woods or high on the rocks, especially during the spring and summer season.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It makes travelling easier, especially in cases when you have no opportunity for low-budget acommodation, such as free camping and so on... also seems like a good opportnity to meet new people.
