ABOUT ME

Wandering, nature, music, dancing, flowarts, old fashioned things, ruined houses, books, lines, small details of life.. just listing some things I love.

I am an introvert to some extent and very traditional finnish from my nature: respecting personal space, sarcastic and sometimes very quiet and thoughful. But luckily I have met great people that have tought me a lot and travelled places so I have grown to be flexible and social being as well.

I am studying Forest Sciences in Helsinki University. For years I didn't do much but now I'm moving again. I'm not totally sure where but movement feels good at the moment. I work as social circus assistant instructor and that teaches me so much about myself and others. I am part of a firegroup.

I'm not in couchsurf for flirting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couple of years ago I travelled to Sicily and had some really inspiring experiences with couchsurfing! I had two different great hosts and got first class tourist guidance around lovely city of Taormina.

I'd love to host at some point but truth to tell, I have found it hard to find space in my life to host people. I struggle already to keep my social contacts alive and have time for my boyfrind while I study full time and work a few times a week. And I do need my own quiet time as well. in addition I have a single room apartment that doesn't make hosting easier. .
Summasummarum: All excuses and I do want to give back warmth and hospitality I have received! It just might not happen yet.

兴趣

Outdoors and nature - Since people are not meant to stay inside of four walls for too long. I get my senses back by walking in nature. That should be decribed to people as medicine!

Flowarts - Since I got into group of firespinners I've truly found the world of poi, contactstaff, dragon, hoop.. Too many things to learn! Nowadays I also teach circus.

Dancing - When I live the music with my movements I can submerge in trance and forget everything. It's my happy place! Unfortunately I don't find there that easily anymore.

Music - I couldn't live without

Summercottage - nature, sauna, lake and peace of mind.

Books - I will read more. This is promise to myself.

Drawing - I love the lines and shapes. Someday I will overcome my selfcriticism and start drawing again.

Movies
House of Flying Daggers, Spirited Away, Frida, Fight club, Hours..

I play (or have tried to play) a few instruments. I used to listen melodic heavy music so it still has a special place in my heart. Nowadays it's too hard to describe simply what I listen except folkmusic: northern and gipsyish, irish, flamenco, fado and stuff with classical quitar or cellos or tinflutes and such. Usually I just listen mixtapes from soundcloud. And for dancing I prefer some honest electronic music with proper bass.

Books..
Too many. I loved to read. Nowadays I read too less. Mainly school books.
