Overview
About Me
I'm a queer and poly Canadian fellow. I love to explore and see all the beauty the world has to offer. I'm a freelance translator, so I work from home. I nprefer if guests go explore during the day so I can work. Evening are usually free to go out and do stuff. Also, I have a bike you can borrow.
I'm all about food, I always have way too much stocked up and I'll gladly feed you delicious stuff at my place.
Please however note I now dumpster-dive for most of my food, which means I have a lot of it to share!
Please have a couple of pictures so I know who I'm talking to.
I usually only host, as I don't like moving every few days when traveling, but I'm very grateful for the few Couchsurfers that were able to host be when my travel plans derailed a bit.
Vaccinated and expect the same from hosts and guests.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To make traveling the world easier, and to help other others do the same. Lodging has become so much more expensive in the last years, so it's great to see people helping each other while making human connections!
I love to share what makes my city and country unique, and I love to learn about your city also. For me, a nice long walk is the best way to get to know someone and where they live.
Interests
Food! Always up for some touristy stuff, especially outside, but I really enjoy to see how local people live and share typical meals.
I'd much rather explore a grocery store than a museum.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of so-bad it's good horror movies.
Also mostly anything sci-fi and fantasy.
Not the biggest fan of comedy and rom-com, but if it's well made, I'm down.
I mostly read comic books, they have been my go-to for decades. Otherwise, I do like business type books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had pomegranate in Granada.
I've had port in Porto.
Hamburgers in Hamburg are next on the list!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help you practice your French!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd gladly cook for you, and if I can find the right ingredients, prepare a batch of French Canadian fudge that will make you melt!
I'd also gladly invite you to a restaurant or share a bottle of wine.
