Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Only once been hosted; at Rob Kaufman's place: fantastic!! Met lots of other couchsurfers and I really want to continue with this! It´s great! New friends, lots of fun .. !!! Thanks Rob, Merel, Adel, Freija, Nadine, Ron: you made my first couchsurfing experience sooo good!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Halfway being 23 years old I found myself searching to find out who I was. I also wanted to pursue a career in movie and knew that was going to be challenging.

With the support of my family and friends, I took my stuff together, put it all in a suitcase (it were actually two suitcases, and they were both seriously full) and bought a one way flight to Vancouver -a city I had heard about but never visited- and left Europe.

I never felt so alive as during that flight. It was an incredible feeling of adventure, adrenaline and also, a little later.. with reality.

It was the best decision I could have made for myself.
