Je tiens à spécifier que cette page sera bilingue!!FOR THE ENGLISH VERSION, SEE LOWER, Parce qu'avant tout j'aime la magnifique langue française, mais comme l'anglais est ici la langue d'usage et qu'elle ouvre plus de possibilités de communication, je m'en servirai. Donc, j'ai 22 ans et je viens de Granby dans la magnifique province de Québec. J'ai étudié les arts visuels au cégep de Granby, avec dans l'espoir un avenir dans le milieu des communications et des arts.

Ce qui m'allume dans la vie: les voyages, les arts(allant des arts visuels à la musique, en passant par le littéraire et le ciné). Par dessus tout j'adore apprendre sur tout et n'importe quoi, surtout en ce qui a trait à l'histoire, à la politique, et à différentes cultures, différentes manières de penser.

Je suis aussi quelqu'un qui aime s'amuser évidemment! Il m'arrive (souvent)de danser comme une folle ou de m'époumonner en interprétant les plus grands hits de ce que la pop des années 80 a pu nous offrir de meilleur! Je suis aussi reconnue mondialement comme celle qui danse dans la rue(quelques souvenirs de Bordeaux!!). Le sarcasme est mon genre humoristique de choix, et je peux avoir un côté sombre, mais au fond j'aime penser que je suis quelqu'un de positif. Plus que tout, je suis quelqu'un qui est ouvert d'esprit!

English version I'm a 22 year old girl from Granby, Quebec. I studied art student at the cégep de granby and i am now studying art history and communications at university. I like all sorts of things like traveling, arts(all types, from visual to music to litterature...), learning about all sorts of things like history, politics, different cultures and ways of thinking... I also like to have fun. I have been known to dance like a crazy animal or sing out loud to the greatest that eighties pop has brought to us. I am also world famous as the girl who dances in the street! Sarcasm and such is my humor of choice and I've got a dark and dim side but i like to see myself as a fairly sunny person. Most of all i'd like to think that i am an open-minded person.

PHILOSOPHY

To experience things! Emotions, be it laughter or a certain sadness. Most of all, not being numb! I find myself to be numb sometimes and that is the most depressing thing in the world. Living wonderful experiences is what keeps us from being numb and dead inside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once a fairy had me over. she cooked magical food and told me of a land far away and so wonderful. She flew me to paris where we saw all the beautiful sights...
Then she locked me into a tiny maid's room. I only made it out by breaking the door with my super strong arms. I ran down the stairs and... came back later to sleep a little bit.

兴趣

Everything and anything!!! I like, most of all, to learn. It can be about anything. What I am passionate about is music, art, photo, cinema, traveling, food, moving, laughing, enjoying the time that passes, sarcastic humor, being too strange, dressing up in clothes that don't fit or are from different eras that haven't come back to fashion and never will, putting three dots everywhere(...), choking when I laugh...
and strange fishes, dogs with odd personalities and cats in general. I want to be a crazy cat lady someday.

I have very varied tastes. Music: goes from Curtis Mayfield to Amadou et Mariam to Noir Désir to Ella Fitzgerald to Bach to The Shins to Regina Spektor to Beck to Gianmaria Testa... or Perry Como, or Les Sultans, or the Bee gees...

Movies: I love all kinds of movies, but am especially interested in strange movies. My favorite directors are Michel Gondry, Woody Allen, Tim Burton and Charlie Chaplin. But i also love fun movies like Romy and Michelle's high school reunion or a night at the Roxbury.
Books: due to my short attention span, I don't read as much as i should. lately, I've been reading the latest Éric-Émmanuel Schmitt. I also like Amélie Nothomb, Nicholas Dickner, Guillaume Vigneault, Edgar Allan Poe and many more... and I like books about people making mistakes, like perles d'élèves, free drinks for ladies with nuts or le sottisier des journalistes...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Learned to surf at Le grand crohot in France in summer 2006. I was in heaven as I spent the day either in the water or with my Italian baby boy! We had slept on the beach, in the sand, and had a bonfire.. People were playing guitar(brazilian songs, and oh my god, Noir Désir!!!sung by a Bertrand Cantat lookalike!).
Like in a movie!!!

I know alot about different kinds of music and can reccommend bands.. I'm good at planning trips.. I'm good at arts so if anyone has questions about colours, ideas... I can cook really weird food too and turn you on to Quebec beer or grappa or colombian aguardiente...
