About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm an artist, nanny and avid bike rider. I'm passionate about animal rights -- I care for a feral cat colony (so cute!) and am vegan (but am fairly chill & respectful of others' choices). I love to read, bake and sew and occasionally play music.
PHILOSOPHY
Laughter, creativity and challenges. That's all there is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd like to play host for a night or two for people who can enrich my worldview with stories and new ideas.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just registered on CouchSurfer last week and lucked out! I was on my bike trip with two friends and needed a place to stay for a night and could not have met nicer people via any of the networks (personal and virtual) I am familiar with.
Interests
Bikes, mythology, dance, foreign culture and language (French!), community, athletisism (but not organized sports really), cats.... the list goes on and on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I founded a dance team with several other women that has inspired other groups around the world.... this was 8 years ago and I've since left the group, but they're still going strong!
I've ridden my bicycle from Portland to Vancouver, BC and Eugene, OR.
One of the most amazing things I've ever seen is the Perseid meteor shower from McNeil Point about halfway up the side of Mt. Hood.
