ABOUT ME

Well, it's hard to describe myself in much details but will give a try. I'm easygoing person open to ideas. At least other say so but I might be stubborn some times. I'm kind of talkative and always enjoy meeting new people with whom I can share experiences and points of views.

My profession is related to IT field and I work as computer programmer. For some it might sound boring but for me it's definitely not and I really enjoy this kind of work! It helps me being creative and I take it going for me which is nice. But don't worry, I won't bore you with that if you don't find it interesting.

I like beer very much, not the common ones only so if you get a chance and want to thank me for hosting, you can bring me a bottle/can of a good local beer from your country or area where you live. It will be much appreciate! :)

I know it's hard to personalise all request message (trust me I was looking for a couch many times) but please don't send me a completely generic one. The message such as "Hi, can I stay at your place? Take care." won't do. Please don't send me request far ahead in the future. I can't tell what I will be doing in 3 or 4 months. Take it easy and send me request around a month before you come. It's the best time for me to tell you if I can let you stay at my place and if you are looking in advance. First, greet me by my name and tell me if it's ok with you to accept what I wrote about my couch so I will know that you read my profile. It's really that much, not difficult test but easy to fail ;). Tell me few words about yourself and what is your purpose to stay. Basically, the less generic message the better which proves to me you actually found something we have in common in my profile and it's much easier for me to accept such requests!

Please do read my profile and don't send me requests about staying as 3 people family for two weeks (yes, it happened!). If you want to send me request for longer than few days then please tell me your reason. I'd like to first host you for few days first and if we like each other then I could probably host you loner, but please keep that in mind I can ask you to leave after the time we previously agreed on.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not type of guy who has everything planned ahead and I improvise most of time. Basically my philosophy is to enjoy what is now and don't bother about things which not happened yet. Briefly: "Let's do it and see what happens!".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I provide my couch for travellers and I'm open to meet anyone even if I'm not able to host at the time. Sometimes it happens when I already host someone or have busy time.

I can guide you and hang out during my spare time. whenever I'm free I try to participate in local Couch Surfing meetings and I can introduce other people from CS if you like.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm not very experienced couch surfer so far, but I hope it will change soon. For now I was mostly hosted by others during my travels and it was great experience.

Beside hosting and being hosted I hang out with other couch surfers many times and spent really good time. Thankfully I have no bade experience with any of the couch surfers so far and I strongly wish it stays that way!

Interests

I'm interested in all thing about new technology - gadgets, researches, innovations etc. I like to be on track all the time. :) My other passion are logical games such as chess, twixt and my most loved game go (igo in Japan, weiqi in China and baduk in Korea). I'm not very good at it, tho.

But in top of that I love to travel! Every time I have some days off or just spare 2-3 days I try to find some tickets and go somewhere. I don't like to stay in same place for too long so even if it's short weekend trip I will go anytime!
