Overview
About Me
My husband and I are currently on our honeymoon travelling on bike for 2 months in Georgia and Armenia and 1 month in Iran but without our bikes for the last part (too hot unfortunately ...). We love this way of travelling cause you got to meet lots of people which is the best part in a trip!
You learn so much more about the country your are visiting speaking and spending time with the persons living there !
Connecting with people is the most important thing for me in life. I am involved in different organizations to help and spend time with those who are in need. For 2 years I was an active member of an organization supporting homeless people. I loved it. They teach you so much about life and yourself. Some of them really became friends.
Last year I was in Iraq as a volunteer for a French organization. Once again it was a great (tough sometimes) experience.
And 1 year in the Philippines few years ago as a volunteer too.
My philosophy would be : Enjoy each day it is given you to live and be always ready to help.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently in the United-States, I can't really offer a couch because I don't have and I don't have my own appartment in France but as soon as i have one I'll definitively welcome people who need a place to sleep and discover the french culture.
I'll speak to my friends and family about this wonderful website "couchsurfing". This is a great idea which needs to be known everywhere and by everyone. It's useful and pleasant!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
After a semester in the Us in 2011 I travelled for 2 months in the country and mainly couchsurfed.
One of my best experience was in Yellowstone. My host was a guide in the park and showed us all the best places. We slept on the floor but it didn't matter we were so happy to share his lifestyle for 2 days!
Interests
I am a really active person. I can't stand doing nothing. So I like, walking, running, swimming, cycling.
I was a scout girl for a long time (12 years) so I like camping in the country under the stars (or in a tent...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
They are many adventures I loved in my life!
But I would say my year in the Philippines. I was in charge of a student's centre (the organization I was volunteering for is supporting student's from very poor family in their full study). I was living with the student's who became like my children. 27 of them. I had lots of responsibilities which was very exciting and challenging at the same time :ensuring the centre is working properly managing the budget, supervising the study of all the scholars, developing relations with local authority...
Once I spent 10 days in hospitak with 5 of the students whi had dengue . Hospital there are awful and you have to do everythjng by your own. Find donors for blood (you have to pay a lot of money... at the end everybody was safe!
I learned a lot!!
