A loving Hello to all you travelers :)

My name is Lara. With 17 I decided that I dont want to stay my whole life at one place so i started travelling alone by myself to explore the world. My first goal was to make my own "art-journey" which basically meant for me, going to all the places where my personal favourite artist lived or went during their life. After these first travelling experience i planned to go on and travel all around the world.
2016 i decided to make Japan my second home. I totally fall in love with the country and was blessed to stay there f or about a year.

I love travelling, exploring other countries, cultures, and extend my own horizon. All in all I'm an positive thinking easy-living person who enjoys being with people, listening (and sharing) life stories and making friends all over the world and just enjoy every moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often start traveling alone and end up with a bunch of a few new contacts and wonderfull people i met during my journey. I also dont like the cold and anonym atmosphere in Hotels, so i hope that i could find people on my journey who maybe can show me some sides of their countrys and of course having a great time together.

There is a phrase in Japan or more a proverb: "icharibachōde". This means that everyone becomes a sibling once met.
In Germany there is kind a similar phrase which is "Man trifft sich immer zweimal im Leben". The translation is that if you met somebody once you will see him a second time in your life. And I totally believe that all the wonderfull people i met during my journeys..i have to see them again! Some of them will stay forever in my heart and i couldnt be happier to say that i found some deep friendship all over the world.

Interests

Theater, Musical, so also acting and singing by myself. Generelly listening to music from classical to rock, jazz, blues and musical. I also like art, photography, animals, traveling, meeting new people, sharing stories and discovering new places and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I already mentioned my music faves. Movies i Like: Birdman, Whiplash, Léon the Pofi, God bless America, most movies from Quentin Tarantino or ghibli, Martyrs, big bad wolfs, the wolf of wallstreet, muxxmäuschenstill, life of pie, the slowest murder with the most unefficient weapon, sharknado so from splatter to horror to trash to thriller to comedy everything. I maybe have a special "taste" for a girl, so i dont like any romantic hollywood shit. Sorry guys :D.
