About Me

I am an open-minded, extroverted person and like to be active, explore my surroundings. I don’t like boredom and want to fill my life with new, exciting experiences, especially when I am travelling. I guess people would describe me as quite easy-going.
My favourite hobby above all is dancing, any style - Salsa/Bachata/Kizomba, Lindy Hop, Disco Fox, Latin or Standard dances.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and my boyfriend and like to get to know new people. Especially when I am stressed out I love to go out into nature; walking, hiking or riding my bike. Good food makes me happy as well.
Apart from dancing parties I also like night life in general and am open for chilling in a bar or partying in clubs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to travel more, but after I finished school Corona stopped me from doing so. That’s why I was so happy about going to Istanbul with Erasmus. This experience encouraged me even more to be spontaneous and travel more. I would also like to host people, to be as kind and welcoming as people in Istanbul were to me - so here I am!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different music styles: indie, pop, rap, sometimes classical music and techno. Right now I am more into German Indie/rap, listening a lot to Nina Chuba, AnnenMayKantereit and Cro. But I listen to Podcasts even more - politics, psychology and random stuff.
My favourite book is „slated“ by Teri Terry and in general I like dystopias, but also feel-good novels, e.g. from Lori Nelson Spielman. I read a lot in my childhood, mostly fantasy, and still love Harry Potter and Warrior Cats.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am extremely happy for my Erasmus experience in Istanbul!
