Hey hey! I am a 20 year old girl from Germany, currently studying history of art while trying to take as much opportunities as possible to travel and get to meet new people. Im still on the mission of finding or, as I prefer to say, creating myself and I hope CS will help me on this journey. I believe that you can take something positive and learn from every single encounter, however short it may be!
I think I would describe myself as an open minded, happy, curious, spontaneous and relaxed person who loves to have deep talks about the universe (best with a nice and cold beer), spend time in nature, go to concerts, going out dancing, enjoy good food, and experience all kinds of arts.
Somehow I have the feeling that I was born in the wrong generation and that I should have actually been living in the 70s 80s. I just loove the music of that time (see below) and the fact that technology was not as developed as nowadays and that people made mix tapes for each other haha

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Probably I'm a rather introvert person (I say probably cause maybe I just tell this to myself - you are what you think you are :D), so this is kind of an opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone and confront this sliiight fear of facing strangers and new social situations.
Apart from that I think meeting the locals is the only genuine way to really get a feeling for a country and it's culture. Plus the locals always know the best places off the beaten track :)

My all time favourites are: The Doors, The Kinks, Deux, Saada Bonaire, Simon and Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jefferson Airplane, Blondie, Kate Bush, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Jimmi Hendrix, Depeche Mode, The Smiths and Fleetwood Mac...
But still there is also lots of great recent music out there, I particulary love King Krule, Alt-J, Kakkmaddafakka, Tash Sultana, Mac DeMarco, Tame Impala, Devendra Banhart, Gus Dapperton, The Growlers, Yellow Days, a couple of german bands etc.

BOOKS:
To be honest Harry Potter will always be one of my favourites, but books that really inspired me were Steppenwolf - Herman Hesse, Siddhartha - Herman Hesse, Veronica decides to die - Paulo Coelho, The man who quit money - Marc Sundeen, Ishmael - Daniel Quinn (really mindblowing, read it if it ever gets in you hands!), The unbearable lightness of being - Milan Kundera, the Autobiography of Marina Abramović, a serbian performance artist, The Reader- Bernhard Schlink

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Soon I will be studying in Estonia for half a year, so I guess that will be quite amazing, but so far I did an interrail tour through Europe with a friend on which I made my first CS experiences and met the most amazing and inspiring people! Plus I did a solo trip to Portugal in spring 2018, which taught me so much about myself and made me excited about solo traveling again as soon as possible :)
