Overview
About Me
I'm currently hustling to work on the never-ending flow of ideas, projects, and interests I want to pursue. But it's really important to me that I make time to see friends, meet new people, indulge in hobbies, and go on adventures to keep my perspectives balanced, and just to enjoy myself. I try to always stay in touch with what it is I'm really working and living for, even when they change unexpectedly, and let that guide my actions and my life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've hosted guests on Airbnb in my previous apartment and made some really amazing connections. Right now I don't have the resources to do that, but I had some really wonderful experiences hosting guests, and the people I've met on my own travels have always turned ordinary experiences into adventures. So I thought I'd open my couch to others.
Interests
Just starting to learn how to fly (working toward my private pilot's license), doing cool things with science & technology, painting and drawing, and getting into music. I adore going on outdoor adventures, running away and to new places, exploring new cities and getting to meet new people, when we can be exposed to each others' experiences and lifestyles, and share new experiences together.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my favourite pieces are War and Peace and the Aeneid, and works from Hermane Hesse and Lrca. I've got a thing for action movies, but also subtler, artistic films. I can enjoy anything with a good beat or a beautiful melody. Jazz, blues, techno, house, rap, hip-hop, latin.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving through all of Spain and Morocco to camping in the Sahara, witnessing twisters and storm and rain, and waking up in the middle of the night to a beautiful view of the Milky Way
Cliff-diving in the Albanian riviera
Climbing down into a caldera in the Ecuadorian Andes, kayak-racing in its sulphurous lake, climbing back out on horseback in the middle of a storm, then witnessing the beautiful sunset on our way down the mountains
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you a language spoken by only a few million people and show you some of the amazing food we eat, talk to you about physics & tech, and take you flying (once I've gotten my license!). I can salsa a bit too, and will jump at the chance to practice.
