About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"The days are long but the years are short."
ABOUT ME
I try to make the best out of things, see the bright side, find the funny story, etc, as much as possible. Every time I travel or meet someone new, I'm reminded how much more I have to learn and how much I don't know. I'm constantly humbled by my experiences, and I don't want that to ever stop.
Yoga-crazed... Plays a big part in my life, always looking to expand my practice or hear about others' experiences. I recently got my teaching certification so would love to share yoga with anyone interested.
I like parks, tea, puns, long conversations about life, and reading books.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to be open and non-judgmental, and appreciate both the little pleasures and ways I've been incredibly lucky. Everything is a learning process, and I'm still very much figuring it out.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I got into CS through friends in India-- I was part of a group that traveled together so I am only just getting started on CS independent of them. I am more than happy to meet up with people to share stories (ubiquitous rodents, getting lost pretty much everywhere, being invited into people's homes, monkey attacks/hugs, eating bull penis, etc).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
In India, my roommates and I met a lot of our friends in Hyderabad from CouchSurfing and we've traveled throughout the country using it also. It's so cool to have a way to experience a city with a person who lives there instead of just wandering with the rest of the tourists. Can't wait to meet more couchsurfers!

Music, Movies, and Books
It would be great to swap some books - I really like Dave Eggers, David Foster Wallace, John Irving, and just so many others. Always open to recommendations. Also into poetry, mostly spiritual stuff like Hafiz and my boy Rumi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My favorite things: regularly partying until dawn during my summer in France, spending a week in an Indian village, wandering the streets of Jerusalem, surviving my first triathlon in Rhode Island and getting lost (in the good sense) in the Fez souk.
