About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to expand, explore and play whenever and wherever possible!

ABOUT ME

I'm fun, smart and enjoy meeting new people. My life is centered around growth, spirituality, expansion, playfulness, humor and passion. I am a writer at heart and truly enjoy discovering new people and hearing their stories. Everyone has a gift to share and I enjoy discovering what that gift is in everyone I meet.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy while not new is definitely a thought I dwell on daily: if you're not growing you are dying.

So my philosophy is to grow!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS because I enjoy traveling and have met wonderful people on my journeys. I hope to meet more of the same through CS!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with a few kind folks during my original tour of Ireland. They must've done something right because I so loved the country I moved to the Emerald Isle 1.5 years later. :)

Interests

Dance, hiking, climbing, yoga, Acroyoga, travel, writing, reading, vintage stores, open markets, personal growth/development and getting to know people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - The Notebook, Bull Durham, Love Actually, Casablance, Dr. No, Goldfinger, Office Space, When Harry Met Sally, etc...there are a lot more. :)

Music - most any kind! I especially adore Prince, The Doors, David Gray, Norah Jones, Steve Carlson and Jason Mraz.

Books - hundreds. I can't begin to list them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one?! I broke a wooden board with my bare hand - first attempt.

I also moved across the country to a city where I had no home and no decent-paying job. I also didn't have a friend within 100 miles of that city! And every day was an adventure for which I've been completely thankful.

And I just repeated that venture but on an even bigger scale; I moved to Dublin where I only knew 1 or 2 people. And I returned to grad school after 12 years in the "working" world. :) It's been a life-changing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

My special knowledge includes a keen interest in all things related to personal growth, a passion for bringing people together, a marked interest in helping business owners succeed and the ability to bring all of those together. :)
