ABOUT ME

First of all my name is LARA, no Laura, no Clara, no Sara... Maybe, I am lout, but too many people confuse, I didn't write my name wrongly :D :P

I was born in Madrid, Spain. My first years I lived in Barcelona, then I moved to Madrid with my family. My heart is between Madrid and Barcelona, although I like more Barcelona.

I was living in Barcelona, Spain; Madrid, Spain; Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Glasgow, Scotland; San Diego, California; Pohnpei, Micronesia ; London, England. Now I live in Dublin, I just move on, then I can not advise you so much about Dublin or Ireland in general, but we can learn together, you can teach me things that you discover

I am very quite happy, open mind, grumpy, absent-minded, clumsy, nervous, impatient, maniacal ... But as well I am nice, generous, sweet, social, smiling and funny person. But I would like you can know me better when we meet.

I am on my 2nd year student of BSc Natural Sciences: Biology, with the Open University.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met Cs in a meeting which was held in Madrid, my friends Daniel Matamoros and Oreste Fafak introduce me into the group. We had a great time at the meeting. Then, a few months later Ruben Tapia convinced me to get more involved in the group and I created a profile.The truth is, that I feel very fortunate to be a Cs, it is so great to meet people every day, different cultures and learn other languages. And learnt from others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

-My first experience was in Madrid and I met more CSurfers in my trip to Malaysia. My first host was Dave Wei. My first guest was Rico Steager (I hosted him for 6 weeks in Micronesia).

- 8 COUCHSURFERS VOUCHED ME THE FIRST YEAR :D

- If you feel alone... be CSurfer!! It is really cool, actually!!

Interessen

I love biking and move with my bike on the city, travel around the world, read thicks books, walk to the forest, dive, painting (but I don't paint so much right now), what more, what more... oh! I love dogs, play with them and enjoy the nature with them. Also, I love flight with my pilot friends, we traveled around the world and I hope get my PPL (Private Pilot License) one day :D

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I like almost all types of music, but my favorite is pop - rock (spanish).

Books: Pillars of the Earth , The Shadow of the Wind..., Harry Potter.

I don't like buy new books, I prefer rent books or second hand books.

Movies: I love watch movies. I like action, adventure, suspense movies. I hate terror o romantic movies.

I read Harry Potter Collection but I didn't watch any move :P, I am very bad for remember movies names and names in general, I will ask you your name many times, sorry. I am absent-minded

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I dive with sharks, tortoises and other tropical fishes around me :)

I flew in a private plane around North America.

I slept on one of the Great Wall of China's watchtower with other CSsurfers, we made a bonfire.

I slept in the Sahara Desert in a camping tend with a dromedary guarding it.

I rode my bicycle from Brussels to Bruges, then I crossed through Zeeland (Holland) to Rotterdam and direct to Amsterdam.

I saw a space Launch in Cabo Cañaveral, Florida, that was awesome

I have seen a game of basketball, Miami Heats vs New York Knicks. The basketball game ended in a victory for the home team, Miami Heats.

I slept in the middle of the jungle in Costa Rica with others friends.

I love nature, few times I jumped to a hold or lake to save an animal that were trapped in.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach you dive, laughs all tones, dance, the pleasure to flight and spanish.

I learn French and Mandarin. I need practice my English skills.

I share my life

If you host me, I will be very respectful with you and your home, as you can see on my profile the "my home" tab, I have ten rules for my guests. And I'm going to apply to you too.

I'll cook Spanish food for you. I will share my time with you. What is better that share a good time together and enjoy the visit. When I travel, I like the fact of being with someone in the area that visit the city / country.
