About Me
Hey there! My partner Julian (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000657660/profile ) and I have just finished spending a year travelling, working, and living in Australia, with 6 months in beautiful Brizzy (Brisbane). I met my best friend in the city through CS and hosted a potluck on CS Events to meet other foodies around town. While we lived in Miyazaki, Japan, we loved hosting and and meeting up with travellers, and now we're looking forward to connecting with other CSers as we make our way to the next long-term destination.
We love hosting movie nights, BBQ potlucks, and general hangouts with friends. Julian is a designer and builder by night and I'm an avid horse rider and animal lover. When we travel, we're all about finding a river to jump into, a waterall to swim up to, or a beach to ride waves on, with a picnic lunch in tow. Mountains to climb and forests to explore are always winners, too. Nights out wandering cities with back alley food havens, popular watering holes, and dance floors to lose ourselves in are our favourite places to meet people. Here's to the adventures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting fellow globetrotters and getting inspired by your adventures and stories.
Interests
I love food (whether cooking at home or going out on a food adventure), watching movies, growing all the greenery I can at home, animals (every shape and size), and sleeping in on Saturday before making an epic pancake breakfast.
I'm into EDM, drum and bass, and dancehall music, so if there's a show happening, you can count on my being there.
I love riding horses, practicing yoga, and am currently trying my hand at surfing - any pro tips that'll get me finally standing on my board are extremely welcome!!

Teach, Learn, Share
Want to learn how to make a super basic loaf of bread, a perfect recipe for someone usually on the go, like someone working full time? I'd love to show you! It's been my staple for years and is adaptable to more sweet or more salty loaves, as well as different flour blends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook and everything from Szechuanese to Indian-fusion to breakfast-for-dinner is always a pleasure for me to indulge in! I also love making a big pot of tea and sitting down to a movie night with new friends.
