ABOUT ME

I love film, music, food, travelling and life in general. Throughout my life I have met different people and I have learned many ways to behave. What is my true behaviour? Who am I? It changes from second to second. I have some tendencies though: talking, listening, daydreaming/thoughtful, excited, lazy, curious and reasonable.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy? Having a philosophy makes the philosophy invalid.

Q: If you have no philosophy, then why do you live, what purpose do you have?
A: I live because I do and my purpose is my own

Concepts are worthless, at least for believing in. I believe in only one thing, and it is so fundamental that words cannot begin to describe it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I meet new people and have a good time hanging out with them:D

Interests

I'm a very curious person, in both meanings of the word! If there's anything in particular to point out that I'm interested in, it must be general knowledge.

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: the likes of Allan, Almodóvar, the Coppolas, Gilliam, Hitchcock, Iñárritu, Jarmusch, Kubric, Kurosawa, Lean, Leone, Lumet, Lynch, Miyazaki, Herzog, van Sant, von Trier, etc. are directors with some talent. (also, Survive Style 5+ is great).

books: 1984, Kerouac, Murakami, Kafka, Camus, Robbins...you know, standard amazing stuff, but open to anything. I loved the Fountainhead!

music: I like to Jazz, I like to listen to Jazz...Jazz is in all good music. And then there's Beethoven - what a master!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not that amazing, so I haven't done much amazing stuff. The most amazing thing I've experienced however, was when I went cross country skiing with a full moon and a clear starry sky, casting a mystical gleam on the snow-covered hills and trees...the only sound I could hear was the crunching snow and all I could feel was the entirety of the universe.

I don't really know much, but at least I have ideas about almost everything...maybe not so useful, but could be fun. Also, I can do a little cooking.
