About Me

I travel. I teach kids. I love people. I love music.

I have had many odd experiences throughout my life such as ski instructing, raft guiding, teaching, making rock gardens, baby-sitting for all ages, cooking, building teepees, building playhouses, and many other things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Helping each other as life living beings is why this life exists as it does. After living in many places with many traveling lives coming in and out I realized very truly that we can all help each other. I am a very trusting person and I people who give me their home to stay at for a few days I just have to trust, something which should be shared with the world.

Interests

Life. A good sit and think. Education. Skiing. Traveling. Kids. Music and good dance parties.

I travel alone all the time and love it. Getting lost in a place I have never been to is one of my favorite uses of my time, as well as reading science fiction books and writing about what troubles me in the world. I also love books about economics, politics, and philosophy because I believe with a strong educated mind and a good group of people, like those on CS, we can change the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is endless. in the morning I enjoy listening to old gypsy music such as Django Reindhart, in the afternoon my musical tastes go anywhere from motzart to dance music, and at night it is always my favorite electronic musicians, which change constantly. ( look up Larfy on soundcloud and find out,
https://soundcloud.com/larflarf.)

I love China Meiville, and Margret Atwood as books that expand my creative reality, but I also love history books among other genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17 I was working as a ski instructor in my home town and one day my job was to teach a 5 year old how to ski. I thought it would be easy until I was informed that he did not speak english and had never see snow before. After an hour or two I could not figure how in the world I would teach this kid to ski but then I found a toy for him to play with. We had a connection with this toy and that afternoon I got him to ski with me.

I have worked with a 6 month old baby until they were two and have seen the early stages of life; crawling to walking, no speech to saying words, and everything else.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach and I learn all the time.

I love to talk to other people but I also love my own silence and the sounds of the world. I have countless experience to share with any host or surfer. The more people with adventures I have never had, the more I can learn about the world around me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

All sorts of things... I can share music, world travels, ideas, fantasies, and most of all love.

And whatever I can help the host with as far as food and cleaning and those sorts of things go.
