I am an Austrian language teacher and enjoy travelling more than anything. Whenever I can, I pack my bag and go to foreign places, learn new languages, get to know local people, food, and culture, ... and discover all the beautiful places that our world has to offer. :-)

Couchsurfing is a great way to share knowledge and experiences, have a great time together, and connect with new people and places on a deeper and more interesting level. Without any doubt, it is always awesome to make new friends and I would also be happy to invite you to my place in Vienna in that case (I even have a hammock to offer :P).

- going with an original Vespa over the ponte di Tiberio, one of the oldest bridges in the world
- spontaneously watering flowers in the rain
- watching gigantic tortoises laying and digging their eggs during nighttime in Costa Rica
- yodelling with my students at school
- seeing the Niagara falls in a frozen state
- swimming with dolphins in the wild water
- going up the highest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa
- going to the westernmost point of continental Europe and having a Marilyn Monroe moment there by unintentionally letting everybody see me in my undies
- going to the rum factory in Mauritius (yum!)
- climbing active volcanoes
- touching a koala's butt inappropriately without getting my head ripped off near Sydney
- trying to walk without shoes into the royal palace in Madrid
- dancing on the tables during the Bergfest in Nürnberg and taking a pee on the so-called "Pissberg"
- going by bike up to Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner
- sending letters from the Vatikan
- walking more than 800 km on the Way of Saint James in Spain in about half a month
- taking a bath in the holy Ganga river
- kissing a priest
- exploring Thailand on a motorbike
- climbing a sticky waterfall
- (successfully!) skipping a fire rope
- falling in love
- living in different countries
- making friends all over the world
- bike-packing the Saint James Way, the Alpe Adria Trail & many more to come
- finishing an Ironman (Klagenfurt, Austria)

Languages:
I love learning and teaching languages and am always happy to practice together.

Food and fitness:
I am a certified Fitness- and Personaltrainer and am very much into healthy and clean eating (btw: I am also a flexitarian which means that I am trying to live as vegan as possible).
Hence, I am looking forward to exchange traditional and healthy recipes or to go for a run or a walk/hike/bike-tour/whatsoever physical activity together.

Cooking:
If requested, I can cook a traditional Austrian dish, for instance an apple strudel or potato goulash. I can also bring you whichever Austrian treat you would like. However generally, I do prefer eating over cooking. ;-P

Travel advice:
Can't wait to share travel experiences and listen to your most amazing stories.
