About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to learn, to see, to challenge, to re-create myself, fall on my way, cry and then laugh about it

ABOUT ME

I'm vivacious, opinionated, open, energetic and talkative.

PHILOSOPHY

"There are as many ways to live as there are people in the world, and each one deserves a closer look."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will be happy to meet anyone who wants to walk around and learn about the city, or just to meet up and exchange stories over a cup of coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed couches in Cagliari, Italy, Karlsruhe, Germany and Budapest, Hungary. I have also hosted twice when I lived in Berlin, Germany. In addition to this, I attended the Couch Surfing meet-up in Berlin.

Interests

reading, listening to music, volunteering, walking, watching films, working at a thrift store, rock climbing, spontaneous travelling (natch), not doing math any more, social media, weird craft projects, writing (of a serious and not-so-serious) nature, dancing, tae kwon do, photography especially, being a concert zealot, coooking, baking (more of my forte), spending time with kids/cats/dogs,not driving a car, attempting to adopt kids/cats/dogs, singing (albeit QUITE badly), theatre, improv theatre, reading plays out loud to myself and eliciting weird responses, musicals, fashion, creating weird garments, general gab, sketching, perusing flea markets, dreaming about how I would re-do many of the rooms in the places I go to, the list goes on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam off the Great Barrier Reef in Australia! Generally everything about Italy I love and adore, so going there was excellent. I ran into a group of women in Eastern Europe and found they all knew my family members.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love talking about the theatre and would greatly appreciate learning more about it. I can teach you English and will not go heavy on the American slang (promise) and coincidentally would love to learn expressions from other languages. Also, I do know how to play piano/keyboard and a little bit of guitar, but need to learn a heck of a lot more with both of those instruments. And cooking! Always cooking. I'm always down to try new foods I haven't tried before, and in reciprocation, will teach you how to bake a mean dessert. I also started doing martial arts recently, so there are a few moves I can share. Yeah. That's all.

What I Can Share with Hosts

languages, humor, conversation, basic piano knowledge, lots of stories!
