ABOUT ME

I am very easy to get along with. I'm not the most extroverted person... but I am warm and friendly. I am really interested in people who are different from me because I love learning new perspectives. I get interested in all sorts of things and there are no taboo subjects as far as I am concerned. I especially love music, and I have a strong aversion to dancing.
I am indecisive, passionate, responsible, mercurial and multi-faceted. You never know what you're going to get, but I haven't had too many complaints yet.
Traveling is important to me, as well as experiencing new things. I don't like making statements about myself because then I feel I'll be held to them. I change a lot. I've always been an open book, I just don't promise to make sense. I'm an odd mix of everything one can find in another person.

PHILOSOPHY

I like to live and let live. I am all about activism and care deeply about the vulnerable populations in this world. At the same time, I draw the line at telling other people what to think or care about.

Interessi

I am interested in everything! No seriously, I am. More specifically I enjoy laughing, music, wine, good food, life histories, odd hobbies, unusual ideas, board games, reading, nursing, hammocks, struggling, growing, animals, climbing roofs, getting myself into trouble and getting myself back out again.

Musica, film e libri

I love all music except for jazz, and even that I will listen to if it's live. Live music is almost always wonderful. More specifically I was raised on classic rock and always hold a place for it in my heart.
I like all movies except for horror movies, and even then I'm a *little* flexible. Here's a list of some sort:
Douglas Adams, Americanah, Bellwether, Playing by Heart, 300, Moulin Rouge, Dr. Strangelove, Asimov, Harold and Maude, Orlando (the book, not the person), Snatch, Comic movies (Hellboy, 300, Sin City, V for Vendetta etc...) Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Batman, Star Wars, Holy Grail, Love Actually, Blazing Saddles.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I have seen people in my life rally around a friend and make sure she was cared for completely in a time of need. I was amazed at how easily they all came together. What started out as a huge problem was fixed in a matter of hours and really changed a life for the better. Amazing!

Oslo was cool too. :)

Insegna, impara, condividi

I can teach a *little* bit of fire spinning or a lot of sewing. I know a lot about social work/mental health. I can read tarot cards. I know how to play the piano and the flute. Mostly I just respond to people and it works well for me. My secret super-power is making everyone feel comfortable. Like *really* comfortable.
