About Me
Hi!
I’m Larissa, 22 yo and Brazilian! I’m an Aupair in San Diego - CA. Many people doesn’t know what’s in an aupair so basically I live with an American host family (which I love, they are my second family) and I take care of their kids (two kiddos that own my heart)! I also study and travel a lot during the weekends!
I love this experience! It brought so much colors into my life and I’m so happy!
Before that I was in college in Brazil. I did Public Relations and I worked in an advertising agency which advertise only things to help people being conscious about they actions to the Planet and to our community (I used to do the advertising on the radio which was super cool to hear my own voice while I was driving lol)
I’m Buddhist so I believe that our actions and our thoughts are so important and also that they are responsible for what we have in life (what we do we receive). So I always try to do my best where I am and leave something good to people that I meet!! But I also respect all the religions and I like to hear about it too!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since I’m an aupair and I live with my host family in San Diego it’s not easy for me to have someone here (their rules, not mine haha) but my family in Brazil is here on the Couchsurfing and also my bedroom there is free! So you could have a place in Brazil to stay and my mom is like me, she loves to know new people from the world (she travels a lot too)!
I’m here to fulfill that dream that I have that is to see the world, meet people and share good things! Leave something good where you go and bring something good from others too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Honestly I’m very chill and I can listen to any type of music (I’m not really into Heavy metal only).
Every year I put on my new year resolution to read one book/moth and I’m doing very well this year lol I just love to read, love to go to bookstores or library and stay the day only reading!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The aupair!
When I left Brazil I was very insecure about how the world was! But it’s so amazing! I love to meet people, hear about cultures, try new foods, learn new words in another language! The world is so big and there are so many things to see and live!
Teach, Learn, Share
Portuguese and English!
I surf and can try to help (we can do it together because I’m still learning)
I play soccer! (But Im not that great just because I’m brazilian haha)
Brazilian dishesss!! Reaaaally good btw!
I have sooo many stories about things that I’ve lived here in the US (most of them is about the language barrier that I found and the funny mistakes that I’ve made with words)
I’m so open to try anything
