I am German citizen living in rural Switzerland college educated in the United States.

I am working in sports business/coaching (www.flugphase.ch) and travel business (www.sherpahire.com). Being self-employed, I work a lot and travel a lot. Hence, I am not home that often and I usually do not have time to be a tour guide. Feel free to get in touch to see if I am in town and if my apartment is available for surfing. But please note that I won't have much time to invest in surfers.

Things to note: I live in the quiet countryside of Switzerland between Solothurn and Berne with more furry neighbors (sheep andcows) than human neighbours.The bus to Solothurn runs only once per hour so it is better for travellers to have a rental car while they are here.

By apartment ist fairly big and has plenty of space to host up to 3 couch surfers (in case they are willing to share a couch and/or blown-up bed).

I have travelled the world a lot "when I was younger" . Nowadays I am no longer thirsty to travel much but prefer to stay in my favorite country to live and explore: Switzerland.

I am not entirely fluent in French and Spanish, but I understand very well and can speak ok. I write those languages better than I speak them.

I have known itfor along,long time,but have never tried it.When I decided to go back to the U.S. to attend a reunion at my almamater with a classic tourist week attached, I started looking for couches and figured to put my couch up there as well. It is always cool to meet new cultures

I will very rarely be a surfer but if so, I am very low maintenance, independent, and can occupy myself. at the same time,I can be very communicative. whatever is appropriate.
