About Me

I'm a literature student from Brazil, and I guess thats a importat information about me because I just love to hear and tell storys. Maybe thats why traveling is becaming a great passion in my life, because it's the best way to hear people's stories and, at the same time, to change and to have a diferent view of my own's.

I've been traveling since ever because of my family so I lived in diferent places of Brazil (Manaus and Brasília) and now I live in Rio de Janeiro. I have a big brother that lived in São Paulo for a few years so I've been traveling Rio-São Paulo for the last years. Wich means that I know a bit of Brazil but I still have a looooooooooooot to see here and all around the world.

That's why I decided to go down the traveling rabbit hole!
I’m in Mozambique and I’ve been here for 4 months studing. BUT, schools out! So now I want to go to South Africa, Botswana, Swaziland and Zimbabwe!

So, I'm always traveling, or thinking about it or talking to people that are traveling. I'd like to say that "I'm always planing the next trip" but I never really plan it and I really like to be able to enjoy the possibilities that every diferent place and diferent people show.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveld in 2016 during in the Olympic Games - when everyone was comming to Brazil, and I had the best time meeting people here in couchsurfing. People that like to plan everyting as they go - like I do - and people that are so diferent then me that it took me by a stroke how much i could learn with every one. So, for me, couchsurfing is a sharing oportunity. I'm here so that I can share some time, stories, impressions and - if its possible - a couch with people all over the world.

Interests

I'm really crazy about literature, art, phylosophy and museuns.

I've been trying to learn about movies so I'm waching many diferent things from diferent places so we can have endless conversations about that.

I loooooove food. And I'm really good at eating it. I'm a terrible cook and, on top of that, I can't hold myself but to try to help in the kitchen. Buuut, for everyone's sake I learned that my help can go as far as cutting things. And I am a very animated, enthusiastic, playfull, singfull (is that a word?) thing cutter, thank you very much.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was suppose to know how to samba. In fact, I do, but here is the thing: if you have never ever seen anyone dancing samba, I could be a good first person for you to see dancing that style. (Because I dont dance very veeeeery well, and you'll think you can do it too - wich is great! And you'll probably meet people that dance better and can give you a great show!) I can teach a bit about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share many diferent and funny stories, I can explain somethings about Brazil and break some stereotypes about our culture and people. We can have really long talks about anything you really love, because I think that pretty much everything becomes interesting when someone talks about it with passion.

Countries I’ve Visited
