Finding out what I wanna do with my life...there is just too many choices for someone studying languages and media! So I guess my real mission is: Finding my passion! :)

ABOUT ME

I am a student girl living in Halle and very close to finishing my Bachelor's degree in Cultural and Media studies. I like travelling with my friends and meeting new people and I love speaking English. And to just enjoy life, which doesn't seem to be as easy as it used to be as a kid, but I am doing my best! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is just a cool way to get to know a city from a new perspective. It is so helpful to have someone show you around or just giving you tips about the secret places of a city, so that you get to not only experience it as a tourist, but also as a local! I have lived in Canada for a year and in France for half a year and I felt like really living somewhere for some time is the only way to actually get to know a place. As you can't settle down everywhere in the world, Couchsurfing is a nice option to get at least a little closer to a "home" experience! :)

Interests

Reading, movies and board games ae my favourite passtime while inside, but also being a little creative, especially when decorating rooms or making little presents for my friends. When outside, I like chilling in the sunshine with my favourite people. I am not too sporty, but little bike trips and especially long walks through nature are amazing! And I like looking at old buildings when travelling, guess I got that from my mom. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Harry Potter once and forever!!! But the books, the movies are, well, OK.
Favorite movie would be Sweeney Todd, and most of the other Tim Burton and Johnny Depp stuff. And cute feel good movies like The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and sometimes trashy stuff such as all of the Final Destination series.
Oh, and Birdman was very good too! Well, let's just say I like movies! :)
And music, I love Frank Turner and everyting that makes me happy! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dogsledding in Algonquin National Park in Ontario, Canada! One of the best experiences in my life, I can only recommend everyone to try it once in their life!

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach a little German, if anybody's interested! I know it's hard, but a few words are possible for everyone! ;) And a sentence in Hungarian, which is not a lot, but at least something! :D
And learn, well, languages, and whatever else you wanna teach me about your culture and your home! :)
