COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm trying out couchsurfing for the first time, but I have a bunch of friends who have done it before, and they've always had great experiences. I'm super excited about joining this worldwide community!

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My music taste is super varied and depends on my mood...I listen to just about everything under the sun, from indie/alternative to reggae to hard rock to classical to trance. I'm not a huge fan of those songs you hear ALL DAY on the radio...but that won't stop me from singing along. Some of my favorite artists are The Cat Empire, Metric, Hilight Tribe, Bob Marley, Manu Chao,Alt-J,Mos Def, The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, Milky Chance, DeadMau5, C2C, Ellie Goulding, Half Moon Run....the list goes on and on.
I'm a big fan of fiction, mystery and adventure books. I grew up on Phillip Pullman and J.R.R Tolkien and Jonathan Stroud. I also like reading non-fiction works by authors like Naomi Klein and Noam Chomsky. I just recently finished reading On the Road and loved it.
When it comes to movies I'm not too picky..but usually the goofier the better. I'm not a big fan of rom-coms, but every once in a while it's nice to watch a chick flick with the girls. I love musicals...RENT being my all-time favorite. I also love movies like Zoolander and old classics like Peter Sellers' Pink Panther and The Party.
