About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to relocate from Barcelona to Madrid

ABOUT ME

Adventuresome even though many of my peers have "settled down", I've discovered over the years that meeting people and being open to the random paths the Universe offers has been the most important aspect of my life. I want to discover all that I can and LIVE as fully as possible. That said, I'm a non smoker, very tidy, and a considerate guest as well as a great friend.

PHILOSOPHY

favorite quote: "When the chess game is over, all the pieces go back in the same box". Mission? To lose 10 lbs, meet new friends, photograph as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like discovering others in conversation and everyday moments. It means a lot when I'm able to help someone out - even if it's just to listen to them when they need a set of ears. Love being with people - taking walking tours, hiking, adventuring in general. Have recently been hosting Meetup groups for photography and English and have made new friends as well as improving my game with photos in general.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A newbie with CouchSurfing but because it's "calling" me I know it's the next big thing to try out. Have met people who are part of this community and they can't stop raving about how awesome it is.

Music, Movies, and Books

Expensive coffee table photo essay books, classic cinema, international cinema, BBC drama series, HBO, etc. Love biographies (books, audio books or videos). Like all musical genres but classical tops the chart

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled extensively - volunteered for Mother Teresa, saw the last major electrical blackout of NYC (magical night), worked on movie sets, owned businesses on each Coast, worked at the top of the World Trade Center for a year, mounted photography shows of my photo hobby, lived in Warhol's Paris home for two weeks, met Horst P. Horst and amassed a valuable collection of vernacular photos, commemorated them into frig magnets and sold them at the Getty Museum in LA.

Teach, Learn, Share

English, basic photography as real world practical subjects. Very good listener and a loyal friend. Worked at luxury spas in California and honed a fine skill with deep tissue and relaxation methodologies. Currently writing a book on "How to do voice over work"
